I have no idea which school to choose! Relocating from NYC to London, want to live in central London. Early on focused on American School in St. John's Wood (because want to be on jubilee line with short commute to Canary Wharf) but now not sure about the school. Have two daughters, 8 and 6, and am looking at Faulkner House, Ken Prep, Hill House, etc. Can someone make my decision for me!!!!!

First port of call would be finding out if any of these schools have places in the appropriate year groups for your daughters and then when you find one, or more with places pick which you like best and then find a house in walking distance.
When you are looking for places outside the normal points of entry you are much more limited with your options. All these schools fill up fast but from what I have heard the one on your list most likely to have places is Hill House as it is popular with the more mobile population so has children come and go which opens places up, they also from what I have heard are more likely to 'make room' for extra children even if there is no official places available.
