Hi we may have to move to the above areas has anyone got any experience of the primary schools within this area that they could recommend please? We do not know the areas at all? what about areas to live which can you recommend?

I am keen to look at outstanding ofsted schools but ahvent found many of them. I know it may be difficult to get a place however we would be prepared to move within the catchment area. Schools are our major focus.

Hi -we live in the area and DS goes to Bishops Tachbrook school (YR). We are very pleased with the school and he has made good progress. It is rated by ofsted as good but since then has had lots of new facilities including a new spacious reception classroom and undercover outdoor area.
Other schools in the area I know have a good reputation are: Barford, Milverton, Leek Wooten, Wolverton, Claverdon, St Pauls, Coten end.

Were you looking for a faith school or any other school in particular? - I don't really know the schools in Stratford but I work near there so could find out.

The good schools are over-subscribed as you can imagine- what years will your DC's be in ?

Hi alluc, thanks for your reply very kind. We were interested in any schools that were thought to be good at least. My DD will be in reception- she already has a place where we currently live so we were thinking of trying to move next year but were looking at where the schools were first so that would be Y1.

We do not know the areas at all from a school point of view.

Many thanks and if you have any other advice please let me know.
