Where can I find info on what pupils should know by the end of Year 1?

Hoping someone can help me.

DD1 has been HE for the last year because we've been away. She goes back into Year 2 in September and I just want to make sure she's got a similar level of knowledge to the others in her class, particuarly in Maths.

Does anyone know where I can find a guide to what is expected of them at the end of Year 1?

Google "pitch and expectations year 1" for maths.

Hi threeisthemagicnumber:

Campaign for real education describes what should be covered (and by implication learned) each year (and by age) for primary school here: www.cre.org.uk/primary_contents.html - just select the area of curriculum you are interested in.

What I will say is this is seriously 'ideal world' stuff and may not necessarily be what your local school is working to - but does show you what is possible in theory and is written very clearly.
