Hoping residents of Richmond can help! I am thinking of moving from Paris to Richmond, London with 2 boys aged 4 and 7 years. I am keen to find a lovely, leafy, high end areas with great houses with a garden, and near the park/river. What areas should I be looking in? Also any advice on the best primary schools (either great Ofsted rated or public) in Richmond would be much appreciated. I am a single Mum struggling to make the move work so any local knowledge would be great. Also, both boys are billingual French/English so any leads on billingual schooling would be amazing but I am more focused on finding a fantastic house with garden and a brilliant school. Not sure how this works but my email is [email protected]. THANK YOU

St Margaret's and Strawberry Hill are both friendly, leafy areas near lovely parks & river. Also v expensive. Ham & Petersham are similar. Nearly all the primary schools in Richmond are excellent, some are church & there is a lot of choice. What are your preferences (state, church, size).
