AIBU to think it was my DD2 waste of time

My DD2 had a belief and culture test today. She made notes at home, revising, mind map, we tested her etc and she was feeling confident and ready to go today. I texted her at lunch to see how it went and she just text back that it was easy as they were allowed to get the answers from their book !! So she was conscientious, worked hard and for what ??

She learned and practised how to prepare for a test. She was confident in her knowledge. Perhaps in doing the test she was ableto make best use of the materials that were available to her. It was not a waste of time.

Agree with JWIM. It's the learning that's important here - not that the test was too easy.

Those skills are very useful and hard work is truly it's own reward.

Have to say I'm a bit surprised a primary will allow mobiles with students at school? Or is this a private school?
