Anyone with experience of Watchfield or Shrivenham Primary School?

Hi
We are moving to Shrivenham (with the military) and I was hoping someone might have experience of either Watchfield or Shrivenham Primary Schools in the last 2 years. My boys will be aged 5 & 7 when we move.

We have been there previously, but before schooling was needed, so i'm familiar with the area and a little bit of the schools but i hear they have changed recently.

Previously Shrivenham didn't have a head teacher and friends seemed to think that caused a lack of direction which was effecting the classrooms but i think that has now been sorted but i don't know how long the head has been in place?

And i've heard mixed things about Watchfield - great at early years, not so great once kids hit aged 8/9 if they are bright as they end up helping teach the kids that are behind. However I feel my boys might be a bit behind anyway from starting schoool in Scotland where they miss out reception.

Any advice would be really reallly helpful
thanks
