Or have you liked in the past?

Do you appreciate 30 little gifts of chocs for example or does that get a little too much each year?

I'm hoping DS teacher likes a charity football coz that what DS has chosen for them... I think he would have happily given teacher a real football .

I love a note in a card, I keep them all. Most of my parents know I don't drink wine so I don't get wine anymore. I got a lovely orchid plant from a family - it's on my kitchen windowsill and is on it's 4th cycle of flowering :)

Personally I love Christmas decorations as every year when I get them out I remember the student who gave each of them to me. I also love hand cream and room spray. I always find the chocolates a bit too tempting!!!!!!! I like wine but it is rare that people get me the right colour so isn't usually for me personally but it is always thoroughly appreciated. I keep cards with lovely messages, make me feel all warm inside!!!!!

Oh yes I have had some lovely little Christmas decs too :)

I love Christmas decorations too and always hang them on my tree. I have had some lovely smellies (Hot fudge bubble bath from asda is divine) and flowers in the past. Mugs and notecards are useful and the children who give them to you can see you using them in the classroom after Christmas. Chocolates are gratefully received and my own children love helping me eat them. THe only thing that is a bit of a waste as far as I am concerned is wine as I don't drink it, but then it is always donated to the fundraiser at school (or at my DDs school) so it is not wasted.

Thanks all! I love the idea of Christmas decorations, but I may also add a few really good quality chocs in the bag too.
