Best school water bottle that small child can open

Simple question really. We need a water bottle that doesn't leak, isn't too big and that my 4 year old can open herself. She is quite dinky and doesn't have much strength, the flip caps often demand a big push with a thumb. Have looked at EZ, Sistema, Sigg and Mudpuppies. Now I'm confused. And it's only a water bottle FGS!

I have just checked our Lakeland bottles and they do indeed say Sistema on them.

dd (nearly 4) has a sistema, really easy for her to use.

DD and I have tried lots and we've ended up with Siggs, mainly because the sports caps can be taken apart for cleaning and the seals are replaceable. We had one green bottle ones, but the caps kept closing and you had to sort of hold it open with your teeth, also they were bad to clean. I still use a Typhoon steel bottle, but abandoned the sports cap because I couldn't clean inside it.

I don't do plastic because of chemical leakage from the plastics.

Have seen the Sistema for £1.99 in Sainsburys, are they dishwasher safe?

yes!

another vote for Sistema. They are fantastic.

I love the look of Siggs but after being dropped a few times (maybe that's just my DC!) they look horrible.

That's good news then as I bought one each for the DC [hgrin]
