Anyone in Surrey waiting to hear about school placements?

I understand that we will be able to log on to Surrey County Council website from 3pm today to find out which school we have been allocated. I'm hopeful for DD to get our first choice school as she has two siblings there already but until I see it confirmed I feel a little anxious. Anyone else?

Am waiting too, tbh I don't know why I'm stressed as am less than happy about the school we put first but just knew we had no hope of getting the ones we really wanted and didn't want to "waste" the choices. Rather regret not aiming higher now though. Oh well.

HairyMaclary - same here!! I'm going to go on the waiting list. Not now though - must wait for the allocation letter. Where are you changing it to?

I couldn't get onto the website, but got an email at 3.04pm saying we are in to our first choice - Oatlands, Weybridge.

Excellent news - I shall let DS have a look at the school website later, as he is very excited about the whole concept of "big boy school".

Hope everyone else got the news they wanted to hear.

We've got our 3rd choice, and I'm really surprised. I was sure we would be high enough up the distance list to get a place. I will have to check how they've allocated the places, and see whether there is any grounds for an appeal.

Congratulations Alaska, oatlands is a great school. I'm in Weybridge too and got St James. Very happy.

The computer crashed about 2.40..... Anyway, back online now. We got our first choice school. Am so relieved and happy. Just told DD the good news - she is very pleased. Congratulations to everybody who has received the news they wanted to hear.

Thank you, dickcheeseandthecrackers (great name by the way). Glad you got St James, and that is then definitely sorted until 11. It sounds a lovely school too.

We are very pleased about Oatlands, but I am assuming (hopefully correct) that we will be fine for getting into Cleves at 7, or we will be completely stuck.
