I need either yellow or green boys polo shirts in ages 5-6 and 7-8 (0r 4-5 / 6-7)

I can't find them both in stock anywhere bar asda, and theirs look see-through and completely washed out , well the yellow does, the green is nice but sold out!

I've just looked on the Next website - they don't have green, but there are yellow ones there - from age 3 up to 16. Sorted!

Brill thanks!

H&m had loads of colours a while ago, including yellow and green. Was surprised to also find plain polos in Pumpkin Patch as their stuff is usually soooo patterned. M&S?

Takver · 04/04/2011 09:35

These people seem to have them. Haven't bought their polo shirts but their school trousers were fine.

TotorosOcarina · 04/04/2011 09:46

Theyre quite expensive there though would need 3 of each so ends up near £30 with p&p

John Lewis they maybe a bit more expensive, but are cut big and last really well. DD has been wearing hers for 3 years now.

TotorosOcarina · 04/04/2011 10:10

out of stock there lizcat, good price too :(

Any good?

I've bought hats/scarves/bottles from them before.

Are there any in Sainsburys? I know the Sainsburys near us has lots of school uniform at the moment although not sure about coloured polo shirts (and their website just says to go to your nearest store Hmm)

FilthyRichAndCatflap · 04/04/2011 11:53

We have bottle green polo shirts at our school and the ONLY place I could get any was from one branch of Sainsburys, near Hounslow. The branches only stock the colours that are used in the schools near them, and green is quite unusual it seems. I was very lucky and got an incredibly helpful sales assistant on the phone, who put some packs by for me until I could get to the store a few days later. Def recommend calling a few stores to ask what they have in stock.

blackeyedsusan · 04/04/2011 14:16

Asda yellow ones are ok. we have them, but the quality may have changed since last year

blackeyedsusan · 04/04/2011 14:20

they are only going to get covered in paint/glue/mud/grass stains/felt tip/packedlunch or school dinner. the asda ones have been hardwearing and are a lovely lemon yellow. they have been scrubbed a couple of times and are washed everyday. (see the top line)

TotorosOcarina · 04/04/2011 15:35

Yea i think im going to get the asda ones.

our sainsburies has a tiny uniform section which has red and navy stuff only - which is daft as its right next to the kids school whios colours are yellow/grren!

We have used the asda yellow ones and they seem ok. They are a bit paler from the word go but don't seem to fade any further on washing and last ok.

Lookandlearn · 05/04/2011 09:53

Asda fine, but if you're a slattern like me, I prefer to pay extra and have trutex because they wash and hang without needing ironing. Asda def need ironing.

TotorosOcarina · 05/04/2011 09:54

I'm ok with ironing, probably the only thing I don't mind cleaning wise! haha

have ordered asda ones. they will just wreck them anyways Hmm
