Anyone else have a child in the Barnardo's Young Supporter Concert at Wembley last night?

I thought it was amazing. We came up from Devon for it and didn't get home till 3am, so but it was incredible experience seeing 2000 children all singing together in a massed choir.

No but my friend's dd was in it. Only the school went though, she was still waiting at midnight for her dd to get home.

I hope she enjoyed it Fimbo. From what I saw the children all looked like they were having a great time.

My friend had text messages from her dd and she said she was having a ball.

Themumsnot · 25/03/2011 21:48

Surely some other MN children must have been in this?

Was it open to all schools themumsnot? My friend's dd is at a private girls school.

Well I didn't know fishface. Never heard of it in these here parts at state schools.

Most of the schools there were state primaries as far as I could make out, Fimbo. Hard to tell where they were all from, as the programme only listed school names and not their location, although I should think most were London. There were a few schools which looked by their uniform to be private, but not that many.
