Current parents of Millfield Prep School -opinions please

Am considering moving my DS and DD from current Prep to Millfield. Would really appreciate the views of current parents.

would that be millfield in steet somerset

The senior school is in Street and the prep is down the road in Glastonbury.Would be V.happy to hear off parents who have children in either.

dont have anykids there ,but ive heard ether school is exccelent,how old are the other dcs

Nomad: no experience of prep but have DC in senior school. What would you like to know?

How long has your DC been at the school? Are you happy with the school?
The facilties I know are amazing, but what about the teaching,pastoral care etc... ??

My DC has been all the way through the senior school - well a year to go! Very happy with school. Large school, but normal sized houses and classes. Classes in the bottom stream 6/7 pupils in some cases. Our DC exceeded expectations at GCSE. Is not sporty but will try lots of things so is kept very busy. Lots of chances to do D of E, community service, outdoor activities and other activities as part of MAP (Millfield Activity Programme). Staff accessible. Headmaster now in his third year - has made a few changes but nothing massive.
