Would you agree with my ds's school that at this stage in reception there is nothing to worry about?

I have the points he is on at the foundation stage profile at the moment. For PSE, he is on 2.3, for CLL on 1.3, for PRSN on 0.3. School assures me all is fine. He is on school action plus, but thats mainly because of his physical disability. Should I ask for anything else?

I have no idea what those levels mean but have you any worries? Is he happy and supported? Is he learning and progressing?Making friends and getting on with other children and adults?

I'm not sure, it's difficult to find out, partly because he can't express himself very well verbally.

Hi..

He can't be on 1.3, 2.3 and 0.3 as that is not how it works.

There are 13 areas with up to 9 in each. Psed has 3 (so max 27) areas, and cll 4 (so max 36) all have more than one area but the scores are not averaged.

The eyfsp is an end of reception assessment- I wouldn't worry to much at this point. The point of the eyfsp is to inform the provision in year 1. The data shows that many children with low eyfsp do very well at ks1 (year2).

I think this was averaged.

Emkana- it doesn't get averaged. It is returned as 13 assessment scales with a score of 0-9 in each one.

The typical score in each area varies with the lowest always being boys writing. I cant check as on iPad but the average is somewhere around 86 (out of 117). This is by the end of reception.
