We are moving to London with DD 4 and DS 6. We are thinking of International School of London on Gunnersbury Ave in Hounslow? Any views on this school would be appreciated.

I see this is an old thread but if anyone has heard anything or personal experience with the International School of London, we are moving from the US to UK soon and would love some first hand reports. Many thanks!

Jennyleigh, why are you after international school? Why don't you consider good private school which follows British curriculum?

I have quite a few American friends whose children have been fine with standard state primaries in the UK (and don't seem to have had any difficulty on returning to a US curriculum afterwards).

I had experience with the international school, not a very positive one :high staff turnover as teachers travel all over the world, as a result they are not interested to build a reputation in one particular school, many children whose first language is not English so teaching is adjusted to it.
