Gentle first face wash

My 9 year old is beginning to develop spots on her nose. She currently just washes her face with water and a flannel, which obviously isn’t cutting it anymore.

Could anyone recommend a really gentle cleanser that’s suitable for young skin?

Thanks :)

I got my 9 year old this as she was starting to get spots - Suncream and sweat after PE I think. Boots do a 50ml one which is technically travel sized but has been good to try it.

Cerave do a sentative skin face wash which is great. I found the Byoma quite drying when I tried my daughters the other day.

Curel foaming cleanser is lovely

I have just bought my 11 yo DS the Simple moisturising face wash. No spots for him yet but he plays an awful lot of sports he uses it in the shower every morning and night.
I would aim for something as gentle as possible for her at this age.

My 9 year old has very sensitive skin and she has been fine with the Nivea caring cleansing cream face wash.

Cetaphil Gentle skin cleanser was recommended to my son in the hospital

I get DD the Sukin Rose range. It’s natural, very gentle and inexpensive. Often 3 for 2 at Holland & Barrett.

Simple cleanser is what I recommend, on a cotton wool pad, followed by Simple toner on a fresh pad. Then Simple moisturiser. It’s not fancy but it is very gentle, unscented, and does the job.

Aleppo soap. It’s natural, gentle, antibacterial and generally good for any age skin. Just pick a lower laurel oil concentration for the face.

Cerave - but pick the ones for normal to dry skin as the one for normal to oily can be drying on young skin.
