Dealing with BO… help!

My son is 11 now, and whilst he’s on top of getting a shower everyday, he is starting to sweat more and so BO is becoming a bit noticeable. If he can get away with it, he will wear the same socks and undies twice in a row, which I keep on having to remind him of. He also has sensitive skin, so are there any roll ons or sprays that won’t make him itch like mad?

I'd find the sanex roll ons gentle. Avoid Sure.

I think you just need to be really straight with him. Remind him of when he's been near someone with BO on a bus or whatever, and say how unpleasant it was and how people didn't want to be near that person, and that will be him if he doesn't look after his body properly.

My 11 year old daughter was struggling over the summer with bo no amount of washing & deo seemed to help for long we’d tried lots of natural ones that don’t include aluminium but they work for a very short time when she started high school I was worried she’d need to keep applying or others would smell it. We got her Mitchum 48hr roll on (they also do stick & spray) after I’d read it was good and it’s been the best yet she smells fresh all day she also has sensitive eczema skin no irritations from it

Is he in Y7? Usually they figure out pretty quickly once they are in High School that smelling bad is really, really uncool.

I agree with all of the advice above. Id also add in washing his bedding and towels at 60 and keeping on top of keeping his shirts and blazer clean.
