11 year old started period. Which period pants are best for a sporty girl?

Hi all.

As above really.
DD started her period today, and has a netball match on Tuesday at school.

Could anyone recommend a really good pair of period pants for sport? (Baring in mind she’d be wearing them all day so would need something that can last about 10 hours and sustain jumping around too!)

Period pants weren’t a thing when I started and have been on the Depo injection for years so a bit out of touch!!

Thank you xx

DD hasn’t started yet but I’ve got her a couple of pairs of the Wuka teen pants for when she does as I heard they are good. Following for tried and tested recommendations!

ModiBodi boyshorts. Pricey, but worth the investment. I think they only sell online though. In the meantime, get to Primark and get some of their period pants, even better if they have any of the ones they do sometimes that are Nike Pro style workout shorts.

PS: DD is sporty (cricket, football, kickboxing) and got her period 3 years ago. ModiBodi have been superb. She has enough (ModiB and Primark) to last a period, because they can take a while to dry, but they lasted until she grew out of thel.

Primark are absolutely fine but she may need to change once in 10 hours.

Thank you all for your comments so far.
We grabbed some from Tesco earlier on which are the medium to heavy flow (didn’t have any light flow ones) to use for now (along with some more pads etc too) so will look into these suggestions xx
