Hi what do I do ??

my 11 year old son year 6 asked me if he could wear his ugg boots as school shoes but I said no as they need to be leather.

hes come back and found these which are how can I say no now 🙈

It will depend on the rules of his school.

I've seen kids at school wearing similar shoes, ours actively encourage boot/welly style school shoes in the wet and colder months so I doubt it would be an issue if I sent mine to school wearing those. It completely depends on your school uniform policy.

He’d probably play football in them and tear a hole within a week. They’re inappropriate. But down to you and or the school rules.

He’s one of the girls so Doubt it lol

The soles are really slippery , so i wouldn’t use them for school.
mine wears his to/from and between dance classes, and they are great for that.

What does school uniform rules state about footwear?

If school allows it then why not?!
If the problem is that you don’t want him to wear uggs to school full stop or that you don’t want to buy another pair of uggs just explain that to him

😂He definitely caught you there! If the girls are allowed to wear them at school then I don't think the school could say no.

Update he’s in them from tomorrow after half term
