What is the best period app for young girls? I personally use Flo. But not too keen on putting it in my daughters phone as it occasionally suggests articles about orgasm and sex positions etc. Just want one with teen content, no talking to each other or communities, tracker

Apple or android? You can just use the Health app if on iPhone - no fuss. It’s not the best as you can’t see the whole month in a calendar format but it does the job.

I and my dds use My Calendar, red background with a white flower.

I use "Period Tracker" app icon is a pink flower.
It's free, easy to use & is what I'll be recommending to DD when the time comes.

Can't recommend the app Luna enough. Both my DDs use it, youngest (12) hasn't even started her period yet but you can track emotions and acne on there too which is helpful as hormones change. Here's the website if you wanted to look into it more: https://weareluna.app/

It's made for teens so all the articles and content is appropriate, youngest often tests me on my knowledge with the quizzes on the app. There's also an agony aunt style section where your daughter can read through or anonymously ask questions they find embarrassing and get an answer from a doctor or expert - this was the biggest pro for me, peace of mind that if they didn't want to approach me about something they've heard through a friend they wouldn't just Google it and maybe find something explicit or go to tiktok for inaccurate advice from some influencer

Ooooh yes to LUNA app too! My DD came home from school with a letter about it and they recommended it to all the girls in the school and she loves using it. I think its good that she can have a little bit of responsibility herself to track things and its v age appropriate xx

I use one called Privacy tracker (pink square with P). It is v simple and dumb but all data stays on your phone and there is no advertising or anything.
