DS12 has some hair on his lip either side, beginnings of a mustache. DH wants to show him how to shave. DS is not entertaining a conversation about it, and finds it embarrassing, but did select a razor etc from the supermarket with DH so I think he's at least curious. He's just so closed off at the moment.
It seems young to me, but I can't deny there is hair there!
