Parental control apps

Please can anybody recommend a good parental control app?
I found out my 11year old has been groomed online, police are aware and investigating.
Most of this seems to have happened on Snapchat and WhatsApp. I have family centre active on our Snapchat accounts - is there anything similar I can use to monitor activity on WhatsApp?

Not sure about monitoring WhatsApp but we use the Google family app to restrict access to certain apps and websites. You can also limit access, so an hour a day for example.

We also have a rule that we can look at DC's phone if we need to so know their unlock code. Have spoken to them about not accepting messages from people they don't know on WhatsApp and you can limit who can invite them to group chats too (under settings > privacy > groups switch to my contacts only)

If your DC has an Android phone, MmGuardian allows monitoring of WhatsApp and other messaging services. You can see every message if you want or just monitor for keywords or certain types of language.
