My DD who is 9 loves the smell of Garnier Summer Body..she has sensory difficulties. She is not into makeup or anything like that yet, far from it but she does like creams etc. She has a body lotion she puts on at night with lavender to help her sleep.

She asked me last night can she try my garner summer body some time. Would there be any harm in this on young skin?

It’s fake tan.

So the smell in the bottle, isnt the same smell that develops on the skin. She isnt going to enjoy smelling like biscuits.

Plus, a 9 year old wearing self tan- there’s too many things that are wrong with that and could go wrong.

Let her sniff the bottle and at best if she really wants to wear some- put a dap on her wrists. She’s will see that the smell changes and makes your skin orange. She will probably be put off then

The smell is lovely when applying, but it's awful when drying and the tan is developing! I can smell it all day, even after washing. If her sensory issues include smells/scent then I would avoid!

I agree with you but it's the weirdest thing she loves to smell it off my skin before I shower in the morning after it develops overnight 🙈 I agree, it's weird!
