I have a house full of ten year old boys for a sleepover. Hopefully I can get them to watch a film from 10pm ish instead of leaping around and playing endless Xbox, what films should I suggest?

Any marvel films.
Original Toby Maguire spiderman.
Uncharted- treasure hunt adventure with Tom Holland.
Indian Jones
Star wars - we like the stand alones of solo and rogue one as well as the standard ones.
Free Guy
Dungeons & dragons
New star trek films
Jumanji - new and original
Jurassic Park
Have watched all if these with our 12 and 9 yr old DS.

The Goonies all the way!

Topbird29 · 13/04/2024 21:16

Also I Robot & Independence Day.
Stardust.
Home alone.

Bizarrely they got a bit scared of the baddie gang in goonies, and didn't like the start of the Princess bride so refused to watch that!

I assume you made a choice, but - Back to the Future!

Mine at that age absolutely loved 'Eddie the Eagle'.

Jaws. Kids watched it last week and were enthralled

Isn’t there nudity right at the start? I remember loving jaws as a child but being a bit 😳 seeing it as an adult due to the naked scene at the start…

I know you will have watched the film by now, but I would say: Nothing rated above a PG without prior agreement with all the parents.

Mitchells vs the machines.

No wonder they were so engrossed... I was in the room but making popcorn for them at the start.

Huh? So the four horrible deaths played out in gory detail didn't bother you, but the dimly-lit skinny-dipping did?!?
