Bathing together

I saw a post in the last few days of an Op get slated for allowing her children to play in the bath together. Mine have grown up playing and washing together in the bath. Is this not a normal childhood thing?

I have many fond memory’s growing up our summer holidays with my cousins all the same age we would be out in the bath together (probably to save on water).

I just wondered why people are so hostile to the idea. My kids absolutely loved it growing up and I’m sure when they have kids they’d do the same

Not when they’re preteens tho.

I think it's entirely normal for some families, and entirely perplexing or even horrifying for others. I also think some people are intolerant of the choices other people make which are different from their own choices.

Non-sexual nudity within a family does seem to attract vitriolic comments.

I agree with rzb. It’s normal for some and unthinkable for others. Just depends on family dynamics and comfort levels. But the two things it should never be is uncomfortable for anyone or sexual.
