When did your child start to make friends at secondary school? Friends to hang out with outside of school?
My child seems to still just be very attached to one close primary friend and although she mentions names I’ve not heard I think this is just people she’s been sat next to in class rather than people she’s socialised with at school.
I’m a total loner born to a total loner and I’m worried that in perpetuating the cycle. We didn’t do a lot of primary school play dates due to work etc but I work less now and would be fine with her having people over after school. Is that a bit babyish at this stage though? Coming over after school and going home after tea?
