My daughter turned 12 today, we let her have the reins now she's older and doesn't have much interest in the things we used to do, however I feel so down she woke up today had her presents and went to school then asked to bring some friends over this evening which I'm fine with but I feel like a crappy mom, because we haven't done anything together. We did go shopping with her birthday money over the weekend but it just doesn't feel right, is this normal behaviour? Does your child prefer to be with their friends as they got older?
