I've just bought DS a cheap reconditioned smartphone for his 11th birthday. As per the very helpful people on here, I've done the Google family link thing so that I have control over things (which I was grateful to be told about as not very techy). He hasn't had his smartphone yet as its his birthday tomorrow. Something I've noticed which I think he'll be upset about is that on the youtube app there's no option to create videos. Before I get judgment from people, he currently makes videos on my phone of his dog and computer games and shares with 6 subscribers:) Is there a way of enabling this through the family link or is it because he isn't 13 yet so can't make his own videos in his own account? I think he's going to be pretty disappointed 😞 Does anyone know anyways around this? I'd be so grateful as I'd really love it to be sorted for tomorrow 😊
