Literally getting me so down
My 11 year old started year seven and he's completely changed. He's now rude, disrespectful, defiant and I can't do anything right. He threatened to call 999 on me to allege I hit him (I've never done this) and was goading me with his finger on the call button of his phone.
I know high school has been hate but he appears to hate me and it hurts so much :(

Is he ok at school ? That would be my first go to , Has he settled in , who are his new friends? Would a call to his form tutor help you to get a better idea of what might be going on .
Has their been any big changes at home ?

Hi he has settled in well and his mood seems fine. I did contact pastoral who are supporting him.
I'm worried about him

Let him call them. He'll be told he's wasting police time, as there won't be any evidence that you've touched him.

I can imagine ... My own have had their moments with me and it's upsetting.. Im guessing you have already asked him whats going on with the change in behaviour?
Is his Dad on the scene?

Has he thought out the consequences? For instance if you were arrested would he have to go into care? If you post your job because if the arrest all of the nice things you provide would stop?
