Hi I was wondering if anyone could recommend a gentle face wash for an 11 year old girl please? Currently uses nothing, just washes her face with water. Her skin is generally good but she has developed a couple of spots. I think it is time that she maybe starts to use something. I remember Clearsil when I was a teenager and it was very harsh on the skin. I looked in the chemist and it just seems to be a bit of a minefield. Any recommendations? Thanks.

Hello, the Simple face washes are mild but cleansing

DD is 11 and has just started using my Clean and Clean facial cleansing bar. It's like a bar of soap and leaves your face feeling squeaky clean.

My DD is 14 and has hormonal skin. We find the simple and dove ranges best for her. She uses simple micellar cleanser and face wash and a dove moisturiser with SPF 30.

My teens have used cetaphil. DC1 went on to develop full on acne, which has needed GP level treatment, but cetaphil worked and was mild enough prior to this stage. Dd just suffers monthly hormonal breakouts and cetaphil is good for her. Also seen cerave recommended plenty.

I second this. Not a teenager but I have sensitive skin and prone to whiteheads and dryness and Cerave is brilliant.

Plus micellar water for removal of light makeup.
