The latest, greatest puberty books for girls

What's the latest? I've seen the one that's been nominated for an award and I will not be purchasing that for DD. I'm tempted by the classic Usborne one (What's happening to me) or possibly the Milli Hill one, My Period, but is it just about periods or does it cover other aspects of puberty too?

DD is a bit quirky and very curious so I want to make sure she has good, unbiased information that we can discuss and wondered if anyone had a recommendation. Thanks!

I must admit that I went for the Usborne classics for both DS & DD.

They're she appropriate and you know what you're getting.

A Mighty Girl had a good range that they recommend here.

The American girl range are great. They have the care and keeping of you 1 & 2 and loads of other well written books on everything from friendship dramas to boys to online safety.

We have 'the girls guide to growing up' by Anita Naik (who I think used to be an agony aunt fie j17 if you are old enough to remember it). Cartoon drawings an a nice light style but full of info. There is a boys equivalent too.

The Milli Hill one is great. It is mainly about periods, but I learnt a lot from it. I’ll be buying it again for my youngest.

Thanks all. Will do a little research this weekend!
