Just wondering anybody can recommend a skin care product/regime for a 10 year old? DS has started to get some
blemishes on skin and also noticing small blackhead around nose area.
Ive found some ranges online but just wondering if anyone has first hand experience of something that works?

I think that DS was a little older when he first started using skincare. Up until he started Y7 he was a bit of a shower dodger so don't think that he would have used it even if I'd bought it.

Sorry that's no help but hopefully this will bump for you Wink

My 10 year old began to break out in spots across her forehead and blackheads across her nose recently. I took her to see a pharmacist for advice, she's been using a mild facial wash cleanser by simple and I put acnecide on areas affected by spots every other night...3 weeks on and her skin is almost completely clear it's made a huge difference.

Great, thank you. Will look into the acnecide, we have begun to use a simple face wash also.

As a lifelong sufferer if acne, I wouldn't recommend any of the classic 'clearasol' etc washes as these are very harsh. La Roche posay make excellent gentle cleansers for spot prone skin that don't irritate. You can get a large bottle from Amazon for about £14.50 - sound expensive but it lasts for ages! Also a gentle moisturiser so the skin isn't panicking and producing more oil.
