Hair removal

Ok so I cant get away with it any longer. Dd2 (11 nearly 12)really wants to remove her leg and underarm hair yes we have talked about not feeling so much pressure to conform to beauty standards etc but she's also a kid and she's not responsiblefor changing the world just yet. We have issues with sensitive skin in our family so probably guessing hair removal creams are no good unless I want her to stink and have a rash on her legs.

So best bet is probably a razor so as I just pinched her dads one ( no pink tax for me 🤣) and have used that for years i have jo idea what's out there that would be easy for a child to use.

Nothing with its own soap strip stuff as I dont want to risk sensitivity to that. Luckily I can easily source a suitable shaving soap although the gel might be easier at first but I cant use the Gillette stuff so I'll have to hunt around for a suitable alternative I guess.

Anyway idiot proof razors for kids suggestions would be great thanks. Preferably ones where you just replace the blades so to limit plastic /waste.

Tia 🙂

I think at that age I just used my DM's old LadyShave.

Luckily DD hasn't yet succumbed to the pressure so don't have any recent experience.

I thought id have a bit longer but it is what it is. Dd1 doesn't seem fussed so from what I've seen she doesn't bother. I dont have a lady shave. If I did it would be well hidden going by the fact that my ghds have already been pilfered by dd1 the last thing I need is to lose more stuff 😂

I was 15 when my mum caved to some Immac which stunk 🤢

I bought some before our summer holiday. It wasn't half as stinky as I remembered Grin

🤣 they finally cut the smell? It always seemed alot of effort for something that didn't last much longer than shaving did.
