I just wondered if anyone had dealt with this before my son will be 5 later this year and he wants a birthday party at a local farm and to invite cousins his age and school friends but im not sure what to do with my 2 older children (12 and 14) and older niece (14) i feel like they will be bored at party as they are too old to do the party stuff (donkey rides, food, inflatables etc) but dont want to feel like were leaving them out of the party will be the day after my sons birthday so they will get time with him anyway on his actual birthday

I would ask them what they would like to do. Explain what the party will be like and where etc, then let them make their own minds up.
