10 year getting angry

My DD started a new school (we moved due to job) overseas. There are a group of girls constantly trying to wind her up and doing pranks. I've told her to ignore them and walk away, she did for a bit but they are still winding her up. In the end she had enough and just got angry at them, now these girls are going to the teacher to say my DD is being horrible to them, so a phonecall from the teacher came my way. She's normally kind (even her previous teachers said so). No issue with the boys in her class and they've been getting along, she plays with them instead but girls still trying to push her buttons. Any advice what to do.

I'm in a similar position with an 11 year old, just moved country. Me and dh have decided to throw everything at spending time with her, doing stuff together like biking tennis etc. We are becoming her friends and her safe space while she settles into her new life and new friendships.

Also, friendships are hard for girls this age wherever you are. She would've had issues and drama in her old school too. It's an age/developmental thing.

I'd tell the teachera to have a word with those winding her up as it wouldn't be happening if they left her alone.

Where you move to?
