Hair removal for 9yo

NC as been discussing this with friends so outing.

My DD is 9 (year 4) and has really dark hair. Her legs are really quite hairy, & she has said that she doesn't like it in PE especially, although she says no one has said anything.

My two other DDs started leg hair removal around 12/13, so 9 feels quite young.

Anyone else got any experience here? Tips? Not sure whether cream or shaving is the best way to go, or even if I should try & eke her out...

I bought my 10 year old one of those electric lady shaves as she was getting underarm hair and was self conscious of it in her leotard for dance lessons. I think the hair removal creams might be a bit harsh on such young skin but I didn't want her to cut herself on a sharp traditional razor.

I help my 9 year old remove her leg hair once a month or so if she asks me to. She does her top lip herself whenever she wants to.
It made me sad that she felt the pressure to do it but I much prefer for her to be happy and confident at school and at her sports activities.

Thanks all, much appreciated, I'll definitely have a look at the electric options, I hadn't considered those.

I think you are right @FionnulaTheCooler, I didn't like the idea of creams & @fingersdoublecrossed I could definitely help her if I shaved for her xx
