my son (now 14) is in the middle of his pubic growth spurt but is growing at extraordinary rates. In september 2020 (13.5) he was about 5'8, but now he has shot up to 6'2.5.
i am 5'9 and my wife is 5'3
im just curious to see if anyone here has kids who had such extreme growth spurts in a year during puberty.

I think this is very common with boys at this age,a very rapid growth spurt! Girls tend to grow earlier and then stop sooner.
