11 year old inappropriate ipad chat

My son is using his ipad chat group with his mates (aged 11-12) and saying awful inappropriate things (mix of sexual and just horrid)

We previously had an incident where he accesses a porn site (recommended by a friend) via my laptop (having hacked the password)

I thought we had a grown up response about why porn was wrong, disrespectful etc and strengthened controls on screens so am so disappointed by the latest issue which was brought to me by another mum.

Obviously all phone and ipad are now removed and he is also grounded (to keep him away from porn pal)

I'm so upset and worried about him - where do I go with this

All screens (phone too) are for schoolwork only (no messaging enabled) and in public parts of the house. Phone gets handed in to adults as soon as adults at home. Adults have PIN numbers @ passwords for all devices and do frequent spot checks in front of kid.

Get him a phone that is just a phone and doesn't have internet access. How is he having time to hack your laptop password without you realising? I think he needs a lot more supervising. Don't let him have an ipad and laptop use is in a main room only.
This is really disturbing IMO. I'd go as far as considering moving house/schools to get him awayfrom this group of 'mates'.
