Dd is 9 almost 10. She is a very light sleeper and has a creeky door due to an over the door hanger.
Last tooth 3 or 4 times her head popped up when went to exchange tooth for money and eventually I set clock for 2.30 am and managed to get in to do TF but didn't get door closed so got up early and called her.
Same problem tonight. Just had set clock but now haven't managed to put the money I'm. DH says she too old for TF and just tell her. Even when going bed she was excited and he said her she too old but she still left it out for tooth fairy. AIBU to just tell her but fear she figure out santa too

This seemed to satisfy me at a small age, might help you?
