I have a 12 year old son who is having dry skin problems. He gets dry skin around his mouth and nose. Skincare generally was not a thing when I was a teen but as an adult I'm now in a routine of face wash, moisturizer and serum type deal. I'm not really sure how to approach this with him. Should i be introducing a proper skincare routine to my son now? He had exzma as a kid but his dry skin now is just prone to certain areas. I did not have acne or any spots as a teen but his dad did..he doesn't have any yet but I am pre-empting he might do..what can do you suggest?

my 13 year old uses cerave face wash - he had dry patches of skin around his nose and cheeks and it cleared them up in days. and then he uses a vitamin e moisturiser from superdrug. i wouldn’t introduce too many products unless really needed.

Contact your GP and see if there's anything they can advise.
