XBox / games console - at what age?

If your kids have the above, at what age did they have it?

My son turned 10 in May. I'm reluctant yet as don't want him shutting himself away in his bedroom!

My son was gifted one at that age. It is a good way for them to socialise but you really have to police it, well we do anyway otherwise he'd be on it 24/7.

He hadn't hit it in his bedroom either, but we are lucky that we have another room to put it in.

Mine were around 7/8 I think. They were a godsend during lockdown so they could Still maintain contact with their friends.

They do need policing though as there's downsides as they can become addictive
