Has anyone had any experience with your child moving forms to a different half of the year in school ? Due to disruptive behaviour issues the school are taking about this with my son, I was just wondering if this would have a positive effect or not. The theory being he won't be able to mess about with friends in class. TIA

I know that our school do this sometimes. There are some form teachers who seem to deal a bit better with the disruptive kids.

Does he understand why he's being moved? Is he happy with the move and if not, he's figured out how to stop it?

Yes, he understands why but seems to give the impression he's not bothered about it.

He's had 2 good days this week so I'm hoping the threat of it from his form teacher has had an effect, then again I'm already hoping and usually end up disappointed lol
