Best kids deodorant?

My DD8 has gotten the the point where she is very whiffy under the armpits. We knew it was coming as she became very prepubescent just after her 8th birthday with her moods, her hair growth and those ‘tummy’ aches.

Can anyone suggest a good deodorant for children? And even better if it’s cruelty free.

I use Mitchum myself I have done for a long time but I know it’s very strong with blocking sweat glands so would not use that on my child

My DD uses the kids Scrubbingtons roll on deodorant for daily use which is pretty good!

She does also use Sure for when she's doing sport or her dance class.

Greeb people make a nice roll on

Earth conscious are also good. The one in the tin is a cream/paste that you just run on or they do roll ons roo.

We have started off with Bionsen. Sainsbury’s stock it. Aluminium free.
And i find proper soap does a better job than shower gel, sadly.

What’s the deal with aluminium deodorant? It it harmful?

Yeah I will think about getting some sort of bar soap in too for her of it works better. She does wash her armpits with one of those poofy things and shower gel, so this is more of an attempt to provide some additional protection for her (her clothes have been smelling) rather than just disguising the BO!

I've just bought the Scrubbingtons roll on for DS12 and also a 'Salt of the Earth' melon and coconut natural spray deodorant so he can see which he prefers.

Scary! I just came on here to post the exact same sort of question and now I don’t need to. Thanks for the suggestions - I will investigate.

We are using salt of the earth, we have a strawberry spray and a vanilla roll on - seems to work fine.
