First bra recommendations?

Hi everyone, Dd just turned 13, she’s sort of beyond the bud stage but I don’t think she is an A cup yet. She’s wearing crop tops up until now (When she remembers to put one on) Any recommendations please for this inbetween stage? Comfort is a big think for her. She’s hasn’t started her period yet either probably not too far away? I was nearly 14 getting mine so I presume her body is following the same path. Anyway TIA Smile

An A cup is only 1 inch difference between under and over bust measurement so if there is any breast tissue she may be larger than an A cup. Think dd had M&S Angel bras at one point.

Crop tops are fine if she is still an AA. Fine for up to a B cup I would think. My dd had some unpadded simple bras from Marks and Spencers. Plus very soft and stretchy bras from Petit Bateau, (they are expensive but last a long time as stretchy.) I will go and find some links.

This sort of thing, although if she prefers padding there are several other options.

Thanks for the recommendations, she is very slim aswell so I think that’s why an A cup would be too big. I think those m&s ones above would be perfect.

But an A cup on a 28 back is smaller than an A cup on a 32 back size. Cup is relative to back size.

Have you measured her under and around her bust to get an idea of size - dont add inches to the under bust measurement.

Each inch difference between under and over bust measurements gives a bigger cup size e.g. 1 inch = A, 2 inch = B, etc

My daughter is 12 and she's wears either m&s or new look bras, we got her measured at m&s although they were well out saying she was a 32a when I measured she is a 30b and fit much nicer. So I would measure her yourself. X

The in between stage is perfect for sports bras. I bought a few bralette from M&S and when I noticed they had seriously changed in fullness moved to a bra. The buds really don’t need anything and encourage her to enjoy a free chest!
