Irregular periods

DD started her periods a year ago (she was 10) and although she seems to be doing great (thank gos for period pants!), the periods still seem quite irregular - closer to every three weeks rather than four. Is this normal? I honestly car remember when I was her age!

It'll take a while to get into a rhythm. Do you have an app and that will take an average for her after a few months? If it's regular that doesn't mean 28 days-many peoples 'norm' is longer or shorter than that.

DD is 12, got her period exactly a week ago and is between 3-4 weeks since then. I can normally predict it by a spot outbreak and mood change though.
