Party for 11 year old

What time is reasonable for an 11 year olds party on a Friday evening? Is 6-8pm too late?
Disco themed with a dj playing the latest music - does this sound fun for the age group or something more aimed at teenagers?
In charge of organisation and no idea where to start! Thank you

6-8pm is absolutely fine in my opinion if it is a Friday/Saturday. All the school discos went unitl 8pm, DD also had a couple of early "dinner parties", going for dinner instead of a big party which were at that time.

Disco sounds good if the girl likes to invite a larger crowd, we had mainly small parties, max 6-8 girls at that age. For that a disco wouldn't have worked.
