10 year old spotting

10 year old dd has been spotting all weekend started off pink now red, is it likely to be a period? Main reason I’m doubting it is because she hasn’t started puberty at all and I’ve been told it’s generally 1-2 years after breasts and hair develop? I have pcos so my worry is that it’s a hormonal side effect of puberty starting. Any ideas or suggestions? Is it ott to ask nhs helpline for advice?

The general consensus is as you say @akmum18 1 year after breasts and hair start to grow, I’d say it was hormonal more than a period tbh. Best advise is get her checked I’m sure all is fine xx
