My dd is 9 a twin , she wants me to go up stairs and stay when she goes to sleep even though her brother is in same room, he falls asleep quickly.
I find my evening s are very short and I have to be up there! It’s not good.

Tell her you'll be back in a minute you just have to do a quick chore. Do a noisy chore and come back for a few minutes. Then say you need to quickly pop out again and do something else she can hear, be away a little longer. A few nights later progress to just popping your head in the door and checking on her every few minutes. Then take longer and longer in between. Eventually she won't need you there, and will be satisfied with hearing you walk around and do things around the house.
