I’ve had ds in tears tonight apparently next sept 2 of her main friends at school are moving to different schools and her other 2 friends are always together and won’t have time for her. How can I encourage her to meet some new friends? She goes to clubs etc that her friends don’t go to but she claims she tries to make friends but she feels like the other kids don’t want to be friends with her. I keep trying to encourage her to invite some different friends round, all she needs to do is arrange and her parents number so I can confirm with them. I’m at a loss, thinking of phoning her form teacher tomorrow to see if she can help but September is a little way off yet, maybe I should just see how if goes?
