Pressure to start a relationship at 12

My daughter liked a boy, she then decided she just wanted to be friends. Hes messaged her to say he will kill himself. I dont know the boy or his parents so dont know what to do! Ive told her to block him while i try and track parents down via socials. Any advice?!

Do they both go to the same school? I would start there. Who is the lead in the pastoral care team?

They do but she’s in bits so wanted to try and start some action before Monday. We have a Monday plan so she’s going to write a statement and let the student services teacher lead. She’s genuinely worried she could cause a suicide. Tbh that’s why we didn’t want to wait.

Well, if you know his name and his school then call the duty social work team. They can find him with a full name plus school info.

At my DS school they have a system where they can report concerns about another pupil’s mental health. Do they have this at your DDs school?
