Migraine?

DSS has for the second time this year been in tears because he has a severe headache. He's 10 and a half. His dad's given him some Calpol and he's laid in bed in the dark.
Just checked on him and he's asleep, bless him.
His dad reckoned it could be migraine.
I had them myself during early puberty (11/12 IIRC) , but thankfully not since.
Can migraine be caused by hormones for boys as well?

Hopefully he'll sleep it off and feel better soon.

No idea on that one sorry. Think I’d be tempted to get him checked out.
